We reached the sixth position in the investments list "Znyamya Trouda" #82, 25 October 2002
According to the Moscow Regional Statistics Bureau, Egorievsk district has been listed in the sixth position (of 36) for the amount of foreign investment attracted for the period from January to August 2002. It is USD11M or 6,6% of all foreign money invested to Moscow region.
The total amount of both Russian and foreign investments for the last nine months is RR 410 mln (US1=RR31,7) and has doubled comparing to the similar period of 2001. The main Russian investors are the confectionery factory "Pobeda", meat processing factory, J\S "Bytplast".
The new factories are being constructed - the Polish soft tissue plant "Bella" and "Atamur" (children's textile). There are plans for the new Austrian brewery "Hirt" and a Slovac plant for children's diet food.
From the beginning of 2002 Egorievsk industries have manufactured the goods for RR 933 mln. The growth comparing to the similar period of 2001 is 22,5%. The average salary in Egorievsk is RR 4023 a month (USD 127).
